9th Annual Sustainable Solutions Fair

Join us for a fun and unique celebration of all things sustainability! I Love A Clean San Diego, in partnership with the City of Encinitas, is hosting the 9th annual Sustainable Solutions Fair on Saturday, June 22, from 10AM-1PM at the EUSD Farm Lab.

This one-of-a-kind event will highlight tips on low-waste living, composting, recycling, sustainable swaps for everyday products, and more. All are welcome – from sustainable living beginners to zero waste experts.

Come ready to experience a wide array of zero waste activities, including informative panel speakers, booths from sustainable companies, and hands-on low waste DIYs.

Organic Waste Recycling Webinar

The City of San Diego’s curbside organic waste recycling program is here! Join us on Tuesday, February 13, at 12 p.m. for our free Organic Waste Recycling webinar to learn about the program, what it means for City of San Diego residents, and how to do it at home.

 

During this one-hour webinar, you will learn:

 

  • How to properly dispose of food waste through the curbside organic waste recycling program
  • What types of waste can be put in the green bin
  • Why it’s so important to divert organic waste from our landfills

 

Attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Visa e-gift card, distributed at the end of the webinar.

RiverBlue Film Screening

Join I Love A Clean San Diego for a journey around the world’s most polluted rivers, as we take a deep dive into the global fashion industry, in our screening of the documentary film RiverBlue on Thursday, January 25 from 7:15 – 9:30 PM.

The film screening will be hosted in the Warren Auditorium at the University of San Diego, and a Q&A session with a panel of local sustainability experts will follow the conclusion of the film.

Zero Waste Parenting Tips and Tricks Webinar

The City of San Diego’s new curbside organic waste recycling program is here! Join us on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m. for our free  workshop at the Allied Gardens Recreation Center to learn about mandatory organic waste recycling for City of San Diego residents and how to do it at home.

The one-hour workshop will include:

  • How to properly dispose of food waste
  • What types of waste can go in the organic waste recycling bin
  • Why it’s so important to divert organic waste from our landfills

Participants will receive FREE compost from the Miramar Greenery and informational resources in a follow up email!
